At My P.E. Kids, we believe every child holds a spark of creative power—and when that spark is recognized, it can light the way forward. My P.E. stands for My Physical Education: learning by doing. Young people do not simply watch filmmaking happen. They pick up the camera, write the script, direct the scene, record the sound, perform on screen, and help bring the final story to life. We bring filmmaking, animation, and storytelling into community centers to create joy, confidence, and connection. Through hands-on workshops, mentorship, real-world media assignments, and film premieres, kids experience the magic of movies while becoming the people who create them. From scriptwriting and acting to filming, editing, reporting, and voice-acted digital shorts, our programs turn young dreamers into capable young creators. Along the way, they develop more than technical skills—they strengthen their voices, discover their gifts, learn to collaborate, and build confidence in what they can accomplish.
